About WNIA - West Norfolk Islamic Association

WNIA - West Norfolk Islamic Association was established over 20 years ago it is the first recognized Islamic Association in West Norfolk.

This was accomplished with the efforts by few of original Muslim families who settled in Kings Lynn. Founders were Br. Abdul Karim (may Allah Swt be pleased with Him) and brother Hameed Malik (may Allah Swt reward them in this world and in the hereafter).

Kings Lynn is the main town in West Norfolk with about 80 Muslim families from different ethnic backgrounds. The West Norfolk Islamic Association  is a registered charity (Charity No. 803651). Currently, Islamic activities (including prayers, social and educational gatherings) are held at different sites. Our need for a community centre is becoming increasingly apparent because of the growing Muslim population in the area and to full fill our duty as Muslims.
